Crap International weekend

I love my international fooball as much as as the next man when there's decent opposition and something at stake. This weekend's fixtures are mind-numbing and it's hard to see the prospect of a decent game anywhere.

England in Andorra looks like a snorefest of a routine win by a familiar England side over plucky losers. Scotland's grim visit to Macedonia is so bad that the side only departed today and I believe they will be back tomorrow - expect very few goals with 0-0 being favourite. Northern Ireland will likely slip to a 2-0 defeat in Slovakia and only Wales have a home match. Azerbaijan in Cardiff? Nope, can't see that amounting to more than Wales winning another disappointing game 2-1.

Maybe we can't expect too much so early on in a World Cup qualifying campaign but you would hope for at least one decent looking encounter. At least England have a crunch game of sorts in Zagreb during the week and Scotland have again to avoid slipping up in Iceland. Roll-on Wolverhampton.
