League One, Weekend Preview, Game 34

Thirteen matches to go and tomorrow could be our record-breaking thirteenth away victory of the season. I will be there in mufti in the Bournemouth Family enclosure. I do hope we don't run amok and score five or I will be at serious risk of being ejected.

Bournemouth will be desperate to put one over Hollands and Wiggins but I think we reached that point in a promotion season at Chesterfield where your side can begin to play without fear and the goals and football could flow. I think we will win tomorrow.

AFC Bournemouth v Charlton Athletic
Wiggins and Hollands up against Arter and Francis? No contest really and I hope the 1870 Addicks show the respect that Harry and Simon are due after giving their all to try and establish careers at the Valley. I am meeting Mexico City Vic and Chicago Addick for pre-match drinks, both having gone to considerably greater lengths to be there than me.

I am confident we will all have a good day out. Just a shame about the predicted rain.
Prediction; 0-3

Bury v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield should be too strong here and I don't expect them to concede a two goal lead like they did at Stevenage in the week.
Prediction; 0-2

Chesterfield v Tranmere Rovers
Chesterfield will attempt to remount the horse here. They have beaten better sides than Tranmere at home this season but ryan147.com won't mind, he'll be taking 250 photos and meeting all the Rovers players and officials. Gotta hand it to that lad.
Prediction;2-1

Colchester United v Preston North End
The U's to shade this.
Prediction; 1-0

Exeter City v Stevenage
Stevenage may be slight favourites here but Exeter can be a tricky place to get a result and they are scrapping for points. Looks like a draw to me.
Prediction; 1-1

Hartlepool United v MK Dons
I'm not bothered about MK Dons anymore but they should win here to maintain their play-off ambitions. Hartlepool have a glass chin at home.
Prediction; 0-2

Leyton Orient v Walsall
C'mon Orient, put one over this lot and push them closer to where they belong - League Two.
Prediction; 2-0

Notts County v Carlisle United
Both on 49 points and challenging to take Stevenage's play-off spot. County have been strong at home all season and I don't expect them to slip-up here.
Prediction; 2-0

Rochdale v Sheffield Wednesday
Should be a foregone conclusion. Pub Side versus Galatico's. Dale should be grateful to even line-oop against T'Wednesday. Trouble is, instant gratification has lead to premature ejaculation at Hillsborough and there could be trouble at mill. Dale might be good odds for an upset. All Samaritans' leave in Sheffield cancelled.
Prediction; 1-0

Scunthorpe United v Wycombe Wanderers
Wycombe were a side transformed last week as four new debutantes gelled immediately and put five past hapless Hartlepool. This will be a test but I think the Chairboys are good for a point.
Prediction; 1-1

Sheffield United v Oldham Athletic
Sheffield were run close in the week but I think they will see the Latics off as they seek to put distance between themselves and the pack.
Prediction; 2-0

Yeovil Town v Brentford
The Bees' season is fizzling out rather predictably. they are only four points of the play-offs but IU fear they will be seven behind tomorrow evening. Maybe next season for Brentford if they hang on to Uwe Rosler.
Prediction; 1-0
