If it aint broke, don't fix it

Arrrggghhhh! I've had enough. Why, oh why did the BBC have to go and tinker with their sports/football website? it was great. Now it is harder to find information, requires more keystrokes, is slower and is yellow. Someone got paid for taking this backward decision and I am willing to guarantee it wasn't a cost saving move, so why?

  1. LOL, I was thinking the same. All except the new league table which is brilliant.

  2. I agree and was wondering when people would rise up and protest - it's an absolute pig's ear, where before it was easy to use.

It's crap, through trying to be too clever by half.

  3. BBC Sport Football New Layout. Totally agree - its all over the place. Worst part for me is that the Live Video Printer has gone so you can see all results from all leagues on one page and the same for Results from the previous day/night.
Do not like it at all - very much a backward step. It would appear the at the techy nerd that did it does not understand football or its supporters. I now have to go to Sky Sports Centre to see results coming in.
Bad, Bad move by the BBC on this one. The must look to change it.

  4. Totally agree too - ridiculous. The old menus along the left hand side used to be completely intuitive and logical.

I guess there are lots of job losses happening at the BBC are people are keen to be seen to be doing something 'productive'.
