The Coupon 4

I recouped £27.34 of my outlay last week but remain a result short of anything more than a treble to date. This week I am going for an unlikely looking Tottenham and West H
am PL combination. Spurs are due a post-Europe win and they have the personnel to see off Villa. West Ham are off the mark and Fulham aren't great away from Craven Cottage.

In the Championship, Barnsley's impressive home record looks good odds at 8/5 against a Cardiff side who have lost twice away from home. Boro are a more modest 8/11 but they have won three at the Riverside and Portsmouth have yet to register a point away.

In League One I am going with home wins for Southampton and Plymouth and have to take Carlisle at home who offer generous odds of 6/4. I am dipping into League Two for my eighth selection where Accrington Stanley defend their unbeaten home record against the notoriously poor Travellers....

1. Tottenham v Villa (5/6 home win)
2. Middlesbrough v Portsmouth (8/11 home win)
3. Carlisle v Peterborough  (6/4 home win)
4. Accrington Stanley v Gillingham (13/10 home win)

5. West Ham v Fulham (13/10 home win)
6. Barnsley v Cardiff (8/5 home win)
7. Plymouth v Hartlepool  (4/5 home win)
8. Southampton v Bournemouth (8/11 home win)

  1. Perhaps you should change youe bet to correct scores. 3 from 12 ain't too shabby.
You could say that equates to a 4/1 bet. Correct scores are a minimum 11/2.
As del boy famously said " this time next year..."
